Al Fahad chooses proven equipment, which operates reliably and effectively in the harsh environments. First line maintenance of all equipment occurs in the Life Support Area. The equipment used by Al Fahad is globally recognized and complies with IMAS. All Teams are to be fully equipped to conduct the tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

All tools are used in accordance with the manufacturers’ recommendations, have required guards in place, and be maintained in good working order. Equipment users are certified and licensed when necessary.
All major equipment and tools, including hand tools, are maintained in good operating condition and have been all guards installed, operated, and maintained by trained and qualified personnel. All power-driven tools with have the power shut-off marked and immediately accessible to the operator. Equipment inspection certificates are available on site and made available to the client upon request.

Al Fahad are providing all the vehicles and armored machinery to its project. All the vehicles and armored machinery are certified. Project vehicles will be allocated for the life of the project and will be managed from the project office. The vehicles are sourced from local vendors.

Al Fahad are procuring and use In Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS) in all operational vehicles and armored machinery. The IVMS will be available to be viewed on a web-based application with a simple log in.
