The aim of CPD is to create a folder each person in project and provide evidence to that folder that competences are met. Al Fahad is producing such folders and ensure they are updated with each training intervention.
Where weakness is found in an individual from training, quality assurance, observation or other then the CPD will be updated with evidence. For example, at Operational Review a searcher is found to be of standard but weak in certain areas then this will be entered into the CPD.
The CPD will drive OJT and in some circumstances Continuation training.
OJT is a mechanism where targeted training is provided to an individual or a group where observed weaknesses have been identified. OJT will be documented to the CPD but is a more ad hoc method of training than the formalized training mentioned above.
